Today's Easy Like Sunday Morning Track is brought to you by Alice in Chains. This one comes off of their 1992 album Dirt. It was their best album and one of the best rock albums of all time. Jerry said that he almost didn't share it with the band because he feared it was too soft but it was received well and has become one of their bigger hits.
Jerry Cantrell, who wrote the song, said the the song is "in my top three, personally. It's to my long-time love. It's the
reality of my life, the path I've chosen and in a weird way it kind of
foretold where we are right now. It's hard for us to both
understand...that this life is not conducive to much success with
long-term relationships"
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
