Today's Metal Track is brought to you by the English band Blitzkrieg. This self-titled song is the bands most famous song. It was a B-side of the 1981 single Buried Alive which was released 4 years before the bands first studio album.
Metallica covered this in 1984 on the B-side of their Creeping Death EP. It was also included on the 1988 re-release of Kill Em' All along with their cover of Am I Evil. That is the version of Kill Em' All that I grew up on and my brother and I still have that cassette today. It can also be found on their Garage Inc. album that was released in 1998.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
