Today's Metal Track is brought to you by Queensrÿche. This one comes off of their 1988 concept album Operation Mindcrime. It is a story of a recovering drug addict who becomes disillusioned with the society of his time and reluctantly becomes involved with a revolutionary group as an assassin of political leaders.
Geoff Tate is an awesome singer and I always loved is vocals. Unfortunately it appears that he is a real douchebag to his band mates including spitting on the drummer during live shows. It ultimately led to the band parting ways and forming two Queensrÿches which are both active today, weird.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
