Today's Metal Track comes from Machine Head. This one is off of their latest effort, Into the Locust, which was released in 2011. The title comes from Psalm 46 of the Bible: "Be still, and know that I am God."
The band's guitarist stated the song is "about struggle, and overcoming struggle, and knowing that the light at the end of the tunnel is only there if that light shines inside of you. ... Basically, be steadfast. Know that you will get through, and this shall pass."
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
