This Weekend's Wildcard is brought to you by Guns N' Roses. This comes off of their 1993 Use Your Illusions II album and clocks in at almost 10 minutes. This song features some great work by Slash who has stated that recording guitar for this track was very intensive. The liner notes in the album thanked Slash for "the killer guitar melodies", which captured Axl Rose's vision.
This video was the third installment of a series of videos inspired by Del James from the two Use Your Illusion albums. Del James is a close friend of Axl's and is the road manager for the band. The previous two were Don't Cry and November Rain. Any video that contains Slash rising from the ocean to break into an awesome guitar solo is okay in my book.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
