Today's Instrumental Metal Track is Undertow by Marty Friedman. This ballad is off of his latest album Inferno which was released earlier this year. This is a very soulful performance by Marty.
Marty said that he had a very difficult time recording this because scheduling made it impossible to have the keyboard and synthesizer player he wanted in the same room with him. So he had to get the best players he knew to send him a bunch of tracks so that he could go through them.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
