Today's Metal Track is Necroshine by the masters of thrash, Overkill. This is the opening and title-track off their 1999 album Necroshine. However, this is one of those rare instances where I like the live recorded version better than the studio. This version is taken from the Wrecking Everything Live album recorded in their home state of New Jersey in 2002. The intro is fantastic and then Blitz's "ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah" kicks it to another level.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
