Since I'm in Texas I figured it would be appropriate to post a track from a Texas band. Today's Metal Track is Save Me by Damageplan. This is off of their only album New Found Power which came out in 2004. This band formed in 2003 after Pantera broke up (tear). It consisted of brothers Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul, Pat Lachman on vocals, and Bob Zilla on bass.
Dimebag was performing live with Damageplan on December 8, 2004 when a deranged fan shot him on stage along with others who tried to stop him. It is one of the biggest tragedies in Metal history.
