Hey man
Look at me rockin out
I'm on the Radio!
Today's Metal Track is an fun and energetic song by System of a Down. This is Radio/Video off of their 2005 album Mezmerize. Evidently Sweet Danny and Lisa are childhood friends of Daron and they remind him of the good time when he was younger. This is a fan made video if you couldn't tell.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!

Scott's Metal Track of the Day - We Die Young by Alice in Chains
Scary's on the wall
Scary's on his way
Today's Metal Track is We Die Young by Alice in Chains. I've listened to this song a hundred times and never knew they did a video for it. I love it, and boy were they young. This is the opening track off of their 1990 debut album Facelift. The artwork on the back of the album is a picture of the band members up under the plastic sheet in the water as you see here in the video.
Unfortunately two of the band members did die young. Lane at 28 years old and Mike at 44. Another reminder that drugs are bad kids!

Scott's Metal Track of the Day The Sin and the Sentence by Trivium
New Trivium? With growls? Yes Please!
Okay so it's not a full return to old Trivium but I'll take it. To me, they just sound so much better with a mix of heavy vocals. I just hope Heafy doesn't blow his vocals out again. This is The Sin and The Sentence off of their upcoming album which is yet to be titled.

Scott's Metal Track of the Day - Change (In the House of Flies) by Deftones
Today's Metal Track is Change (In the House of Flies) by Deftones. This is off of their 2000 album White Pony. I never would have guessed that this was the lead single off of this album and their most successful single to date. Guess I kind of overlooked it. I would have thought My Own Summer or Be Quiet and Drive (My fave).
