Today's Instrumental Track is Remarkably Human by Nick Johnston which is the title track off of his 2016 album. Just discovered this on YouTube a little while ago and it's beautiful. I'm going to have to check him out more. He's contributed on a lot tracks from other bands I've listened to but I hadn't any of his solo stuff. 

Scott's Metal Track of the Day - No Remorse by Diamond Head (Metallica Cover)

Well this is just fantastic! Metallica was very influenced by Diamond Head and covered many of their songs early on, most notably Am I Evil? which was featured on Metallica's 1983 debut album Kill 'Em All. Well now it's time for Diamond Head to return the favor. Here, Diamond Head covers an absolute thrash gem by Metallica, No Remorse, off of that same album.

Today's Metal Track is Shock by Fear Factory. This is the opening track off of their 1998 concept album Obsolete. It introduces the album's protagonist, Edgecrusher, who is a political prisoner who vows to destroy the totalitarian society he lives in.

Scott's Metal Track of the Day - Primordial by Firstborne

Today's Metal Track is from former Lamb of God drummer, Chris Adler's, new project Firstborne. Primordial is off of their self-titled debut which came out earlier this year. Definitely not as heavy as Lamb of God but pretty decent. Thanks to Adam Satterwhite for showing this to me at our weekly metal listening get together while Jack is at guitar lessons. 

Scott's Metal Track of the Day - Deuce by Kiss

Today's Metal Track is Deuce by Kiss. This is off of their 1974 self-titled debut album and is often used as a concert opener. Ace Frehley said this is his favorite Kiss song and was the first he ever played with the band as it was used during his audition. 

Scott Metal Track of the Day - Sudden Death by Mr. Bungle

Today's Metal Track is "brand new" music from Mr. Bungle but it sounds like straight up 80s thrash metal. That's because it is a re-recording of their 1986 demo album. Mr. Bungle was Mike Patton's first band before he joined Faith No More. Sudden Death is the closing track off of their latest album, The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny Demo, which was released October 30. This album features Scott Ian of Anthrax on guitar and Dave Lombardo, formerly of Slayer, on drums.

In honor of Veterans Day, today's Metal Track is Liberty Man by Second Coming. This is off of their 2003 album 13. Thanks to Matthew Todd for recommending this song. He is actually friends with one of the bandmembers I believe.
