Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!

Today's Metal Track is The Great Debate by Dream Theater off of their 2002 album Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence. This particular video is a playthrough by one of the best to every play, Mike Portnoy. The song is about the debate over stem cell research. It doesn't pick a side, just goes back and forth on the pro and cons of each side. You can tell the track is heavily influence by Tool.
