Today's Metal Track is Dulcinea by Isis. This is off of their 2006 album In the Absence of Truth. It's a pain searching back through my old posts cross-checking for previous Isis songs because Facebook thinks I'm searching for the lame Isis and requires me to click through a bunch of "Are you sure you want to continue?" prompts. I'm okay with the fact that they are doing it but still a pain.

For obvious reasons, today's Metal Track is Willie Nelson by Clutch. Because one things for certain, Willie Nelson only smokes killer weed! This was originally released on their 2003 album Slow Hole To China: Rare And Unreleased. They re-recorded it in 2020 for their Weathermaker Vault Series.

Today's Metal Track is The Heart From Your Hate by Trivium. This is off of their 2017 album The Sin and the Sentence. Best believe Jack and I are hitting up their show next time they come around. They are one of his favorites.

Scott's Metal Track of the Day - Wake Up Dead by Lamb of God ft. Dave Mustaine

Today's Metal Track is a cover of Megaedth's classic Wake Up Dead by Lamb of God featuring the man himself Dave Mustaine. This was just released last week and Dave and Randy have been doing interviews with Jose Mangin on Liquid Metal to discuss their upcoming tour and Megadeth's new album that's in the works. Dave even talked about the potential for them to perform this song together live on tour. This is one of my favorite Megadeth tracks which was originally released on their 1986 album Peace Sells... but Who's Buying. The final minute and solo are just too good. 

Scott's Instrumental Metal Track - Objets de Vertu

I've had today's Instrumental Track stuck in my head for the past week. I was led to it by the Spotify algorithm after listening to Animals As Leaders which is another 3 piece instrumental band. What is funny is Animals as Leaders has two guitarists and no bass player while The Omnific have two bass players and no guitarists. I don't think I've ever seen that before. 

Objets de Vertu is off of their 2017 album Kismet.

Today's Easy Like Sunday Morning Track is Diamond Girl by Seals and Crofts. This is the title track off of the rock duo's 1973 album. 

Scott's Metal Track of the Day - Pulse of the Maggots by Slipknot

In honor of the Slipknot show tonight in Greensboro, today's Metal Track is Pulse of the Maggots from their 2004 album Vol.3: (The Subliminal Verses). Slipknot affectionally refers to their fans as Maggots. So tonight, Jack will officially become a Maggot! Jess is so proud. 

Also, Riki Rachtman is supposed to be at the show tonight. I'm rocking my Headbangers Ball hoodie in hopes of finding him and meeting him!
