This Weekend's Wildcard is a cover of Since You've Been Gone by Rainbow. This is off of their 1979 album Down To Earth. The song was originally written and recorded by Russ Ballard on his 1976 album Winning. This was the only Rainbow album to feature Graham Bonnet on vocals who replaced Ronnie James Dio after he quit the band.

Back in November, after I had posted about every song they had, they promised me they were coming out with new material. Well, it's here and it was well worth the wait. Towers is off of their upcoming album Triumph & Disaster which is scheduled to be released October 1st.
