Scott's Instrumental Metal Track of the Day - Intermission/ATON by The Depth Beneath Us

Saturday marked 8 years since I started my Metal Tracks blog. I don't have an exact count of posts but it's around the 2900 different tracks now. It's been difficult to post everyday but it's also challenged me to find new music that might not otherwise have discovered. 

Kind of like today's Instrumental Track from The Depth Beneath Us. I discovered them going down a YouTube rabbit hole one day searching for new instrumental bands. I really like their 360 music videos and of course their post rock vibe. Today's track is a twofer with Intermission followed by ATON. Last time I posted they were kind enough to leave a comment stating that they are in the process of recording their debut album.

Scott's Metal Track of the day - Routes by Lamb of God

Today's Metal Track is a newly released, live quarantine version of Routes by Lamb of God. The song is off of last year's self-titled album and features guest vocals from Chuck Billy of Testament. Still weird seeing them without Chris Adler on the drums.

Today's Metal Track is brand new music from Rob Zombie. Crow Killer Blues is off of his album, The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy, which came out last Friday. John 5 has really fit in well with Rob.

Today's Metal Track is new metal from Raleigh's own Suppressive Fire. Armored Division is off of their new EP, Invasion, which was just released yesterday. Thanks to Erich Hoppe for the recommendation.

Scott's Metal Track of the Day - Passenger (Mike Shinoda Remix) by Deftones

Today's Metal Track is a remix of Deftones' Passenger by Mike Shinoda. To honor the 20th anniversary of their album White Pony, they releases a deluxe album which came with a bonus remix album titled Black Stallion.  It features the full track list of the original White Pony album in order with each song recreated by a different producer with an "electronic, beat-driven" approach.

Scott's Metal Track of the Day - Wolverine Blues by Entombed

In honor of the passing of Swedish metal legend LG Petrov, today's Metal Track is the title track off of Entombed's 1993 album Wolverine Blues. LG lost his battle with cancer this past Sunday at the age of 49. He was loved by all who knew him as a down to earth fun loving guy. RIP LG!
