Today's Instrumental Metal Track is Dead Between the Walls by Pelican. This is off of their 2007 album City of Echoes. This was the first ever music video by Pelican. Most of their previous songs were too long. The video was shot in the California desert and was an homage to Kyuss’ "Green Machine" video with "sand, fast cars, blistering colors, and just a focus on rockin’."
The video pokes fun at the fact that Pelican is an Instrumental only band. The bearded man with the microphone finally reaches the band when the song ends and they just stare at him like "What are you doing?"
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
