Today's Metal Track is Metal Health by Quiet Riot. This is the title track off of the band's break through 1983 album Metal Health. This was the first ever heavy metal album to reach the number 1 spot on the Billboard Charts. While the song title is officially Metal Health it has been listed numerous way throughout the years including Bang Your Head (Metal Health), Metal Health (Bang Your Head), and simply Bang Your Head.

Sadly in 2007 lead singer Kevin DuBrow died from a drug overdose. Last night I watched a documentary on Showtime titled Quiet Riot: Well Now You're Here, There's No Way Back and it inspired me to post this song today. The documentary focused on the band's struggle to return after Kevin's passing.
