Today's Metal Track is Children of the Grave by Black Sabbath. This is off of their 1971 album Master of Reality. 44 years ago, that's crazy. This song, like many other early Sabbath songs, has an anti-war theme. Ozzy continued playing this song live after he went solo.
This is another one of those songs that people might think is evil or explicit but it's really a song about peace and love.
So you children of the world, listen to what I say
If you want a better place to live in spread the word today
Show the world that love is still alive you must be brave
Or you children of today are children of the grave.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
