This Weekend's Wildcard is Baby Blue by Badfinger. This is off of the British band's 1971 album Straight Up. The song was written about a lady named Dixie Armstrong whom Peter Ham was dating at the time.
The song made a resurgence in 2013 when it was used in the series finale of Breaking Bad. Of course, in this case the song was used as a reference to the blue crystal meth that Walt and Jesse were famous for and not a girl.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
