This Weekend's Wildcard is Dune Buggy by The Presidents of the USA. This fun song is off of their 1995 debut self-title album. This entire album is great and fun to listen to. I wore this CD out when I was in middle school and high school. Funny thing is, I can't really tell you anything they did after that. This song is loaded with fun and creative lyrics.
A little blind spider took the wheel
Navigatin' grass blades completely by feel
Got a sassy chassis, sparklin in the sun
All four small bald fat tires
Rockin through the sand and burnin' up
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
