Today's Metal Track is brought to you by Corrosion of Conformity from Raleigh. This is off of their 1994 album Deliverance and was one of there most popular songs. This album was the first to feature Pepper Keenan on lead vocals for all songs. He also covered the lead vocals on Vote With a Bullet on the previous album but that was the only song.
Pepper is good friends with James Hetfield and auditioned to replace Jason Newstead on bass even though he normally plays guitar. He ultimately lost out to Rob.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
