Do unto others
What has been done to you
Today's Metal Track is Prison Sex by Tool. This is off of their second major-label album Undertow which was released in 1993.
I remember jamming to this song on the way to Canada with Jeremy and Brandon back in college.
From Maynard: "This song is about recognizing, identifying, the cycle of abuse within
yourself. That's the first step of the process: realization;
identifying. The next step is to work through it. But this song is about
the first step in the process, which is recognizing."
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
