Today's Metal Track is Cicatriz ESP by The Mars Volta. This is off of their 2003 debut album De-Loused in the Comatorium. The ESP stands for "Ectopic Shapeshifting Penance-propulsion".
Flea and John Frusciante from the Red Hot Chili Peppers are both on this track. For some reason I always forget that Flea played bass on most of this album.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
