Today's Metal Track is The Apostle In Triumph by Swedish metal legends Opeth. This is the closing track off of their 1995 debut album Orchid. Clocking in at 13:01 it is the third, yes third, longest song on the album. Opeth stated that due to an error in the mastering process, the end of Requiem, the previous track on the album, was placed at the beginning of this track, lol. That explains the first minute or so of this track and the odd transition.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
