In honor of Pi Day, this Weekend's Wildcard is Cherry Pie by Warrant. This is the title off of their 1990 album by the same name. This song was written in 15 minutes on a pizza box because the record label wanted a "Love in a Elevator" type song. The band has mixed feelings about the song because it overshadowed many of the better songs on the album,
The "Dirty, Rotten, Filthy, Stinking" at the begin of the track is a reference to their previous album Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich. CC DeVille from Poison actually played the solo on the track as favor to front man Jani Lane. RIP Jani!!
"Trained Professionals"
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
