Today's Metal Track is Satori I by the Flower Travellin' Band. This is off o the Japanese band's 1971 album Satori, which was broken into 5 parts, I-V. I discovered them the other day on Liquid Metal's Roots of Heavy Metal program. Definitely a strange one.
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
