Free For All Fridays: What's been on my iPod??

I've been out a couple of weeks but wanted to post and give everyone a taste of what I've been listening to recently. It's a wide variety of things but here are my top three in no particular order.

Twelve Foot Ninja - Coming for You.  These guys are from Australia. Very cool mix of metal and funk.



Bon Iver - Perth.  This is the opening track from their self titled release.  These guys have a North Carolina connection as Justin Vernon spent some time in Raleigh and one of their drummers is from NC and went to school at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill.



Coheed and Cambria - Number City.  This is from Coheed's latest album Afterman: Descension.  As with all of Coheed's albums there is an underlying story to each of the albums which make up a larger story called the Amory Wars.  If you have time to kill and are interested in the story behind the music then try going here.  You'll find plenty of info on the stories.
