Scott's Metal Track of the Day - Weak and Powerless by A Perfect Circle

Today's Metal Track comes from A Perfect Circle off of their 2003 album 13th Step. This concept album revolves around the various processes of addiction. 13th step is a reference to the 12 step program used in Alcoholics Anonymous.

The songs on the album are sung form different perspectives. Some from the user, some from the drug, and some from outsiders. This song is from the perspective of a heroin user as evident in the line "Jam another dragon down the hole" which is a reference to chasing the dragon or trying to reach that first high experienced from your first dose.
