Today's Instrumental Metal Track is brought to you by Metallica. This is the closing track on their 1984 album, Ride the Lightning. Hard to believe this album will be 30 years old next year.
The title is based upon H. P. Lovecraft's book The Shadow Over Innsmouth. Cliff Burton was a big fan of Lovecraft and introduced it to the rest of the band. "Ktulu" was originally spelled "Cthulhu".
