Today's Metal Track is brought to you by the guys from Portland, Agalloch. This comes off of their 2006 album Ashes Against the Grain.
"This song is basically about the cycle of life, death and decay. The
mountain is built of red birds (former living things) that have died and
fallen as snow to form the mountain. The 'character' in the song is now
embracing the same fate, to be frozen in time forever in the mountain."
Exploring Heavy Metal and all its glory. Heavy Metal is often misunderstood and thought to be just a bunch of guys banging and screaming when in fact it can be extremely thoughtful, intelligent, and sincere. Expect some throw-down-head-banging, chill mood metal, and gloomy death metal that you're probably not going to hear on the radio. On the weekends we'll mix things up with a Weekend Wildcard and an Easy Like Sunday Morning Track to get you over your hangover!
